Homecoming Weekend

Unite the Community!
Homecoming Weekend is all about celebrating the Miami Family, and the Student Foundation is at the heart of the festivities. We aim to unite our campus community by "Painting the Town Red," participating in the vibrant Homecoming Parade, and beautifully decorating Lewis Place. Our goal is to ensure every student, family, and alumni feels that unmistakable Miami spirit throughout the week.

Events
Highlighting Miami's Traditions by hosting events across the Miami University campus!

Merger Day
Every Valentine's Day, the Student Foundation celebrates one of Miami University’s most beloved traditions: the 'Miami Mergers.' In honor of the thousands of alumni couples who first found love on our campus, we set up at the Armstrong Student Center Pavilion to hand out themed chapsticks—a fun and practical nod to campus romance!

Charter Day
Celebrate Miami's Birthday on February 17! Since its chartering in 1809, Miami has taken a lot of pride in celebrating its birthday.
Turtle Tradition Day
A day to celebrate all of Miami's traditions at the Seal. Grab a stress toy turtle in honor of the sundial.

Tuffy's Toasted Roll
Tuffy’s Toasted Rolls are more than just a sweet treat; they are a cherished comfort food that unites generations of Miami University students and alumni. To celebrate this iconic campus staple, the Student Foundation hosts a special 'Tuffy's Toasted Roll Night.' During this hands-on event, students can gather to make, customize, and enjoy their very own toasted rolls, paying tribute to a truly beloved piece of Miami history.
